There and back again...

The company thought it would be a good idea for me to do some on-site support at our world HQ for a migration project we had lined up, so they sent me over to Florida for an entire month. This was my first trip to the US, so it was pretty exciting.

Not sure if it was IronMan or IronPatriot escorting our plane...

I got to travel in business class, which had the benefit of better seats with more room and use of the airline lounges.

AA Lounge Tokyo, Narita

duty free gunpla...hmm..

When I got to Tampa, I rented a car under the company account and drove down to Treasure Island where the company had reserved a beach cottage.

VW cc...wish I could take it home with me..

This would be my home for the next four weeks. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the aptly named Sunset beach was right down the road. I have to admit I did get some good RnR after office hours.

While I had to work during weekdays, I did have the weekends to experience the local culture, go around, and do some shopping.

of course I went to hooters...

The four weeks went by pretty quickly, and by the end of the month I was eager to go home and see my family. All in all it was a great experience, and I look forward to going on trips like this in the future so long as the company needs it.
