3rd place! (allow me to pat myself on the back for a moment...Pat..Pat..Pat) not a bad finish for a 1st-time participant at any type of Gunpla event! This validates all the hard work I put into this model. The prizes I won - gift vouchers for online gunpla stores Model Grade and Plamo UK (thank you!) will probably be donated to a US or Europe based modeller in need, as the shipping costs to the Philippines are far too great and will be given no quarter by my unforgiving Budget. I appreciate the prizes, but the honor of being recognized is enough of a reward. I learned a whole lot by joining this event - the extended build period allowed me to take my time with the project and not rush anything from conceptualization all the way to finishing.
Big thanks to my brother-in-law Iolo Luciano for taking the photos! I'd also like to thank the organizers, sponsors, judges and the participants of this competition - good job everyone! hope to see you all at next year's Summer War!
